Electric scooters are no longer just a commuting curiosity. This modern electric vehicle is currently a very-popular alternative to bicycles, motor scooters, and cars. It is an ideal means of transport for travelling to school or work, and riding it is really great fun.
The ESC808 scooter by Blaupunkt is a vehicle which allows both young people and adults to move around the city efficiently, while ensuring maximum riding pleasure. The use of the highest-quality components and durable stainless steel, as well as many innovative solutions, guarantee the long durability and usability of the vehicle, and the ability to cover long distances.
The ESC808 is equipped with a 350-W motor, which allows the scooter to reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Three-stage speed control (3 speeds) allows riders to control their pace and adjust it to their age and skills, making the journey safer.
The ergonomic steering wheel has rubberised handles, making scooter control extremely comfortable, and easy access to the accelerator button and brake lever makes for safe acceleration and braking.
A clearly readable LCD display shows the battery-charge status, and current speed and driving mode, while the bell alerts other road users that you are approaching. The installation of front and rear LED lights also improves driving safety, and increases your field of vision. What’s more, it makes the scooter user visible to other outdoor-activity enthusiasts. LED lighting is easily activated by quickly pressing the “Mode” button twice.
The ESC808 scooter is equipped with a cruise-control function, which switches on automatically when a constant speed is maintained for 6 seconds or more. To switch it off, simply press the brake lever or acceleration button.
The 8.5-inch tubeless pneumatic wheels guarantee a high level of riding comfort, and not only on smooth surfaces. Thanks to vibration damping, the scooter can be comfortably controlled on more or less uneven roads, as well as ride over curbs without any bigger problems.
The ESC808 is equipped with a rear disc brake, and the foot brake with E-ABS ensures reliability in emergency situations, and the shortest-possible braking distance. In addition, as soon as the user begins to brake, the rear LED starts flashing.
Comfort and convenience are also provided by a wide platform with non-slip coating, thanks to which the user can maintain a comfortable riding position. The distance which can be covered on a single charge of a 5.2 Ah battery ranges from 15 to 20 km, depending on the load, the type of surface on which the user is travelling, and the ambient temperature. A novelty, unique on the e-mobility market, is the ability to replace the battery with a spare, thanks to which the distance which can be covered on the scooter is twice as long. Replacing the battery is quick and easy, and it can be charged either when mounted in the scooter or separately after removing, as it has an independent charging socket. The battery is installed inside a solid and stable vertical pipe, which protects it from damage in an accident, and also against saturation.
The time needed to fully charge the battery is approximately 2 hours. Spare batteries (with transport bag) with ACE808 symbol are available. The maximum load of the vehicle is 120 kg.
The folding mechanism of the scooter is extremely simple, so you can easily fold it and take it with you on the bus, metro, or tram. A specially designed lock prevents it from unfolding while riding.
An additional accessory, which will certainly be useful during a scooter journey, is a bag attached with Velcro fasteners to the steering wheel and the vertical tube of the vehicle. The bag is made of rigid and durable EVA foam, which ensures that objects inside the bag will not be damaged in the event of a fall.
The bag (symbol ACE800) does not come with the ESC808 electric scooter, but is available as an accessory.
